Training Module - Rationale & Benefits

Both the ISO 9000 and QS 9000 quality system standards require that suppliers perform inspection & test equipment calibration and capability analysis. In addition, employees who perform these studies must undergo documented training in these methods. This training module has been designed specifically to meet this need. The content and terminology are consistent with the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG)'s Measure- ment System Analysis manual. This module allows both automotive and other suppliers to provide this vital training to their engineers, supervisors, process control people, quality assurance personnel and calibration technicians. This module can be used to certify their competency in these techniques. It is designed for a 3 to five hour workshop.
